1. Introduction and Acceptance
AW3D (Arewa Web3 DAO) provides an online platform for educational content, community governance, and Web3 tools. By accessing or using our website and services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
AW3D is a community-governed Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). We operate via on-chain and on-platform governance, meaning decisions are made by community token holders rather than centralized management.
By choosing to use our Services, you acknowledge that participating in Web3 activities involves inherent risks – including market volatility, smart-contract vulnerabilities, regulatory uncertainties, and the potential loss of funds. AW3D and its contributors do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free functionality. You use the platform at your own risk.
2. User Accounts and Eligibility
- Account Creation: To use certain features (e.g., governance tools, commenting, paid courses), you must create an account and provide accurate information. You may also link a non-custodial crypto wallet to your account to participate in voting and token-based features. You are solely responsible for managing your wallet and private keys.
- Age and Capacity: You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your country) to use AW3D’s Services. Persons under 18 may only use the Services with parental or guardian supervision.
- Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Users in Nigeria must comply with Nigerian law (including the NDPR). Users outside Nigeria must comply with their local laws.
3. Community Governance and Participation
AW3D is governed by its community through proposals and token-weighted voting. When you participate in governance, you do so under rules defined by AW3D’s on-chain contracts and off-chain procedures.
All governance actions you take – whether on our website or through associated tools – are on a “use at your own risk” basis. Transactions are irreversible, and you assume full responsibility for them.
4. Services and Wallet Operations
- Educational Content: AW3D offers free and paid learning materials. All purchases are final unless otherwise stated.
- DAO Tools & Voting: Submitting proposals, voting, or interacting with the DAO may require blockchain transactions that incur network (gas) fees. These fees are non-refundable and outside AW3D’s control.
- Blockchain Integration: AW3D uses blockchain networks for governance. We do not hold or transfer tokens on your behalf. You are responsible for your wallet and private keys.
5. Acceptable Use / Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use AW3D’s Services to:
- Engage in illegal activity (e.g., fraud, money laundering, sanction violations).
- Harm minors or involve them in inappropriate ways.
- Harass, abuse, or spread hate speech against others.
- Send spam, phishing, or malware.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations.
- Interfere with or disrupt AW3D’s operations.
AW3D reserves the right to suspend accounts or remove content that violates these rules.
6. Third-Party Services and Analytics
AW3D may use third-party services such as analytics providers and payment processors. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies. AW3D is not responsible for their practices.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the AW3D platform – including text, graphics, logos, and software – is owned by AW3D or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify AW3D content without permission.
8. Disclaimers; “As Is” Services
AW3D provides its Services “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. You assume all risks associated with using the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AW3D will not be liable for any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) resulting from your use of the Services. This includes losses from technical failures, hacking, blockchain errors, or user mistakes (e.g., lost private keys).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AW3D, its contributors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination of Access
AW3D may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your rights to use the Services will cease immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.

Your use of AW3D is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
